My dancing started right out of college in 1981 (yes, that long ago) and over the years what I enjoy most about teaching is seeing how much joy it brings into people’s lives much the same as it has done for me.  Even though I concentrate on keeping our club running at a very high level, like a country club, I still enjoy teaching students and classes whenever I can.

Even though I love all the dances my favorite by far is the Foxtrot.  If I could have dinner with anyone I would actually like to have a banquet with all my past relatives.  That would be so cool!  When I am not at the club I like to spend time working on my landscaping and seeing how I can make it better.  I do not have any special vacation spot, but anywhere would be great as long as my wife is there.

Although I enjoy all the dances, swing is my dance of choice.  Having just become a new grandmother, I love to spend time with my granddaughter, Mia.  A couple of my hobbies are reading and writing poetry.  My favorite color is emerald green and my favorite vacation spot is Napa Valley, California.  What I love most about teaching ballroom dancing is seeing the joy on the faces of students who came in to learn and then achieve their goals.

The person I would most like to have dinner with (dead or alive) is my dad.  I have a cat named Smoochie and he is one, big, boy that I love.  I was born and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey, but my family is from Lithuania and Germany.  My idea of an ideal weekend is a mountain retreat, great food and great wine with my husband.  Want to go?!

My favorite color is blue.  The beaches of Rhode Island are my favorite place to vacation.  The West Coast Swing is by far my favorite dance.  When I am not dancing at the club I enjoy listening to classic rock, rap, and soul. If I could have dinner with anyone, I would choose my late grandfather and my best friend’s late father.

To me, a perfect weekend consists of a backyard party with friends and food.  Favorite pastimes for me are sleeping on the beach and spending time by the water, but on the beaches in Rhode Island.  I also enjoy cooking, especially Italian food and barbeque.  My favorite food is steak and potatoes, accompanied by a good, cold beer.

Why do I love teaching ballroom; it allows me to express myself and make people smile. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, cooking and politics. I enjoy all types of music as long as I can dance or sing to
it, including bands like Marc Broussare, Zero 7 and Janet Jackson. One of my favorite past times is football – GO Packers!

If I could have dinner with anyone I would love to dine with George Washington and ask what he thinks of the country. My favorite vacation spot would be an exclusive cabin high in the mountains sitting on a large quiet lake. I have a pet cockatoo named Patty and she thinks she is a dog (she barks).

The three words that best describe me are; quiet, sarcastic (dry humor), and caring.  Though I was born and raised in Little Ferry, New Jersey my family is from the Bronx.  We moved to Pennsylvania in 1993 and I have two GREAT girls, Toni-Lyn and Maddi.  We have a bunny called Sunny and is he spoiled!  My pet peeve is people who say I can’t.  A perfect weekend for me would be spending time with family and as far as my favorite candy, there are way too many to list.  When you come into our dance club ask me and I will show you a picture of Sunny the bunny!
Other than teaching dance, some of my other talents are cooking, writing, and painting.  The three words that would best describe me are energetic, charismatic and extroverted.  Lastly, when you come to our wonderful club, feel free to bring me my favorite candy, chocolate covered almonds.
My family is from New Jersey and a pet peeve of mine is having to repeat myself. Along with politics I am interested in the changes that are happening in today’s society. I would say a perfect weekend for me is to cuddle up on the couch with a good book. Other talents of mine would be writing short stories and poems. Finally, my favorite candies are Cow Tales and Cadbury candy. So when you come in may be I will let you read one of my poems.
